Who we are

TheCueReport is a Canadian cue sports information site run under the brand name only. Contact us at hello@thecuereport.ca or through the contact form.

What we collect from visitors

• Browsing: there are no accounts, advertising trackers or analytics cookies. Your light/dark theme choice is saved in your own browser.
• Contact form: your name, email, organization, role, topic and message. We use them only to reply. We do not sell or share them. Contact messages are kept for up to 12 months and then deleted. Ask us to delete your message earlier and we will.
• Bot protection: the contact and suggestion forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, a privacy-preserving CAPTCHA alternative. It runs a challenge in the background without tracking you. See the Cloudflare privacy policy for details.
• Rate limiting: to prevent abuse, we record a one-way hash of your IP address (SHA-256, not reversible to your actual address) alongside each form submission. These records are kept for 24 hours and then deleted automatically. Raw IP addresses are never stored.
• Hosting: our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes ordinary technical request logs to deliver and protect the site.

Player and event information

• We publish names, results and event details only from named sources that allow it, and each page shows the source and the date we checked it.
• We do not publish players under 18. If a source does not say whether someone is an adult, we hold the record for review instead of publishing it.
• Profiles with no confirmed ID are labelled so. We never guess ratings or rankings.

Corrections and removal

If you are listed and want something corrected or removed, use the contact form (choose “Something else”) and name the page, or email hello@thecuereport.ca.

We review requests promptly. Removed results are not republished from the same source.

This page is a good-faith summary of how the site works, not legal advice.
